The Darby Escape Toggle is a tool designed to escape from . These cuffs were first manufactured in the mid-1800s, and are still used by certain groups in third-world countries.
Since U.S. and other personnel operate in these third world country regions, they are in potential danger of being taken captive by these groups. Shomer-Tec was asked by some chaps working with the British MOD Survival School to develop a tool that made escape possible from these cuffs. Here it is!
Note: The Darby Handcuffs are some of the most difficult cuffs on the planet to escape. Your typical handcuff keys will not work on these cuffs! No way. No how. The Darby Escape Toggle will work, but practice is needed.
We recommend purchasing at least two of these keys along with a pair of the Darby Handcuffs in order to teach yourself how to use them quickly and efficiently.
